Market Street, Mackinac Island

When he approached us, our client had purchased a site on Market Street where he wanted to build The Mackinac House bed and breakfast. The project entailed a number of steps on our end that you can read about in this series of posts.

You can stare at flat drawings all day long without knowing exactly what a building is going to look like. A 3D visualization opens up a whole new world to explore. Shapes, proportions, roof forms, shadow studies…  These images helped our client evaluate the design from various angles. They also used these renderings to communicate the scope of the project to roofers and other contractors.
